Workflow guide

From jobsite walkthrough to reviewable estimate

A practical workflow for capturing contractor scope by voice without turning uncertain observations into customer-facing facts.

1. Narrate what you verified

Identify the customer and site, describe each requested item, state measurements and units, call out removal and disposal, name access or condition modifiers, and separate confirmed facts from things you still need to inspect.

2. Resolve the holds

Voice to Quote should stop on missing quantities, unpriced work, contradictory units, or unresolved scope. A polished PDF is not evidence that the underlying estimate is complete.

3. Approve and share

Review every line, choose whether spoken overrides remain one-off, and confirm optional tax. During public launch, the workspace also receives a one-time concierge setup release before finalization, PDF creation, or customer sharing unlocks.

Launch facts

  • State units out loud
  • Never infer a hidden condition as fact
  • Include removal, mobilization, access, and minimum charges
Every estimate remains the contractor's decision. Missing quantities or unpriced work must be resolved. During public launch, a new workspace also needs one concierge setup release before finalization, PDF creation, or customer sharing.
