Cold-start onboarding

Build a price catalog from old estimates and invoices

Upload a contractor's own historical documents, derive traceable rate proposals, and keep the owner in control of every catalog change.

What you can upload

Voice to Quote accepts up to 100 PDFs, spreadsheets, CSV or JSON exports, scans, and phone photos. Machine-readable records can be parsed automatically; scans and difficult files receive concierge attention within 24 hours.

What the system proposes

Line descriptions, quantities, units, and observed sell rates are clustered into pending proposals. A proposal carries its source files, observation count, range, and median so the owner can review and judge it.

What it never does

An upload does not silently overwrite the live catalog. Unsupported files do not trigger fabricated prices, and a national reference rate is never presented as the contractor's own history.

Launch facts

  • Originals retained while the workspace is active
  • Duplicate files detected by content hash
  • Owner approval required
Every estimate remains the contractor's decision. Missing quantities or unpriced work must be resolved. During public launch, a new workspace also needs one concierge setup release before finalization, PDF creation, or customer sharing.
